Hire firm launches new mobile device app that allows enquiries to be made at the touch of a button
HEWDEN have launched an app for IOS and Android devices, allowing customers to search more than 25,000 products and make direct hire enquiries to a dedicated account manager, all at the touch of a button.
Free to download, the app offers high-level specifications on every Hewden product including plant, access, accommodation, power generation and cranes. In addition, customers can access information on Hewden training, including upcoming IPAF and PASMA courses.
Users can view and enquire about equipment covered by the Hewden Core Fleet guarantee, which is the company’s range of 30 most-hired plant and access products. Any product in the Core Fleet is available for next day delivery anywhere in the UK, with a £100 credit given if Hewden fail to deliver on time.
In addition, the ‘call the expert’ option allows customers to speak directly with Hewden product specialists to ensure they are ordering the equipment that is best suited for the job.
A unique verification number is available to customers on request. Once this has been entered, the customer’s account information will be automatically entered into the app, meaning they can benefit from an even more personal service.
Commenting on the launch, Jeff Schofield, Hewden marketing director said: ‘The Hewden app provides instant access to hire information and allows enquiries to be made at the touch of button. This is another step in our aim of taking the hassle out of hire for our customers.’
