Duncan Rudall to step down as chief executive officer of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors

DUNCAN Rudall will step down as chief executive officer of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) for personal reasons.

As the most influential trade association and voice in the UK demolition sector, Mr Rudall has worked tirelessly to modernize the organization, supporting current members and removing barriers to make it more accessible to new members.

He has also strengthened ties with other industry bodies, including the Institute of Demolition Engineers (IDE), National Demolition Association (NDA), and European Demolition Association (EDA), as well as regulators, in the push for transparency and better competence.

Mr Rudall will be in post until 21 May 2025 and remain an active participant at the NFDC but in a lesser role. The trade body will provide updates in due course.
