New single-use masks from Honeywell
Innovative 2000-series low-profile folding masks offer comfort, convenience and protection
HONEYWELL have launched an innovative new range of affordable, single-use folding masks that are ergonomically designed to offer optimum visual comfort, convenience and protection.
The 2000-series mask range has a low-profile shape designed to offer a solution to the problem of poor compatibility with other PPE, such as safety glasses, thereby reducing restrictions in the field of vision that often trouble end-users.
‘The 2000 series from Honeywell is an important product introduction as it offers new levels of comfort in single-use folding masks. Users forget they are wearing the mask as it fits just like a second skin,’ said Olivier Cheron, respiratory product manager at Honeywell Safety Products.
‘In tests, 85% of users gave positive feedback on the 2000 series for mask design, protection, wearing comfort and breathing comfort.’
Designed for use in environments with dust, mist and fume risks, the 2000-series range’s low-profile shape offers a panoramic field of vision and facilitates the use of safety eyewear, allowing users to carry out their activities in complete safety, including those requiring the user to lower his head.
The unique ultra-flat, metal-free nose bridge can be easily adjusted to ensure it is perfectly sealed against leaks. It is also colour-coded (FFP1/Yellow; FFP2/Green; FFP3/Orange) to allow immediate identification of the protection level.
Designed with comfort in mind, the masks are easily adaptable to a wide range of facial shapes and sizes, and the nose seal is constructed from ultra-soft, hypoallergenic and anti-perspirant three-layer Willtech material.
The 2000-series masks weigh from 7g to just 14g and have welded braided straps to help prevent irritation at the fixing point. They also come with a reusable bag that not only protects the masks from contamination prior to use, but also offers protection during the day by storing them in an airtight environment.
