New appointment at Haver & Boecker Niagara

Duncan Hooper

Company looks to grow Australian footprint with appointment of Duncan Hooper as national sales manager

HAVER & Boecker Niagara have appointed Duncan Hooper as their national sales manager in Australia, where he will work one-on-one with new and existing customers to provide the equipment and services they need to maximize the profitability of their aggregates and mining operations.

‘My goal is to help Haver & Boecker Niagara achieve a greater footprint in the Australian market, and that starts with the individual customer,’ said Mr Hooper. ‘Our success hinges on helping customers optimize their own operations, and we plan to do that by offering the same level of quality and service that Haver & Boecker Niagara is known for globally.’

Mr Hooper (pictured) brings more than 35 years of industry experience to his new role. His career evolved from engineering into sales and, most recently, management. His work experience in the mining industry has been primarily in mobile- and fixed-plant applications across Australia.

‘Duncan is a great addition to the Haver & Boecker Niagara team,’ said Peter Kilmurray, vice-president of sales at Haver & Boecker Niagara’s North American and Australian operations. ‘He focuses on the big picture to find creative ways to solve problems, while still paying attention to the details that matter to customers – an approach that mirrors the philosophy of Haver & Boecker Niagara as whole.’

Mr Hooper resides in Perth, Australia. He is originally from Birmingham, England, where he studied management at the Open University.

‘I’m excited to start developing close relationships with new and existing customers, and to see Haver & Boecker Niagara grow in Australia,’ he said. ‘There is a lot of opportunity here, and I think we’re in a good position to help producers take their operations to the next level.’
