Brindley Chains was established in 1984 to be the sole UK importer and distributor for pewag products. This covers a wide spectrum of chain-related products including:

- Mechanical handling systems for conveying (both horizontally and vertically)
- Tyre-protection and traction chains
- Load-lashing equipment in various grades
- Hoist and hand chains for manual and electric chain hoists
- Shackles
- Special chain tags
We are certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and are active members of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association.
At our warehouse in Warrington, we hold substantial stocks of chain and components to suit many different applications.
Pewag
Pewag are one of Europe’s largest and most advanced chain makers. Their manufacturing plants are state of the art and production is monitored by a stringent quality control system, which is approved by many major authorities including Det Norske Veritas and the Deutche Berufsgenossenschaft, and they are certified to ISO 9001.
Pewag have been making chain in Austria since the eighteenth century and produce a wide range of chain products.
Pewag are represented on all major international standard committees relevant to lifting gear, and they have their own subsidiaries in many European countries, the USA and Southern Africa, and are represented in all main industrial countries around the world.
