Michelin expand earthmover tyre manufacturing facility in South Carolina

Michelin are to expand their earthmover tyre manufacturing facility in Lexington, South Carolina, to help meet record worldwide demand for 57in to 63in radials for surface mining equipment.

An investment of $85 million (£48 million) in the US plant over the next five years will boost large earthmover tyre production capacity by nearly 50%.
