Appointment of Peter Erbel expands SaaS company’s presence in German-speaking markets
CHECKPROOF, a leading software as a service (SaaS) company for the heavy industry segment, such as aggregates, asphalt, cement, ready-mixed concrete, and heavy machinery, have announced the appointment of Peter Erbel as their new country manager for Germany.
Mr Erbel joins from FLSmidth, having had a career spanning several years across multiple functions, including senior project management and a global purchasing role.
CheckProof, who have seen strong, continual growth in Germany, say his appointment is in line with their desire to provide exceptional customer support for existing clients, whilst driving new growth across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. It is also in line with the company’s expanding global footprint, having also opened offices in the UK.
Based in Stockholm, CheckProof were founded in response to a critical need for heavy industries to move away from pen and paper and digitize their processes for operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. The company’s platform connects frontline staff with the office through digital tools such as customized checklists, reporting tools for incidents and deviations, and resource planning.
Today, CheckProof have clients in 38 countries, and the industries they serve often have high sustainable growth targets, so managing assets and equipment is key, as is the ability to see data-driven reports of the efficiencies achieved – all while ensuring the safety of personnel working on site.
The company has historically recruited staff from the industry it serves, and Mr Erbel’s appointment is no exception. CheckProof say his industry experience positions him as the ideal ambassador for their products and services.
