RJT Excavations Ltd order more Volvo articulated haulers
Replacing three identical, three-year-old models, the new 30-tonne capacity trucks have gone to work on a range of projects being undertaken by RJT in Scotland and England and join a plant fleet now comprising of nine Volvo A30E’s, Volvo 36- and 46-tonne excavators, loading shovels and a range of other makes of machinery.
Timing and availability along with previous good experiences of machine reliability and residual values were the determining factors in the company’s purchasing decision as they undertook a major contract re-locating some 550,000m³ of material in central Scotland, according to plant director Gordon Ballantyne.
