Longcliffe appoint new finance director
Nelson Gonzalez succeeds Iain Gorbould who is retiring after leading the finance team for 14 years
LEADING calcium carbonates company Longcliffe Quarries Ltd have welcomed Nelson Gonzalez as their new finance director. Joining the company board and replacing retiring Ian Gorbould, who led the finance team of the £50-million-turnover business for 14 years, Mr Gonzalez brings more than 23 years’ finance experience to Longcliffe – gained in roles across a range of industries, including healthcare and legal.Longcliffe Group managing director Paul Boustead said: ‘This is an exciting time for Nelson to join our business. We continue to make significant investments in best-in-class technology to improve the efficiency and sustainability of our process; and we are about to move into a new extension of our Brassington Moor Quarry. We look forward to working with Nelson and to him becoming part of our ongoing – almost 100-years-old – success story.’
