Sales growth in excess of 40% results in new record turnover for Leicestershire-based firm
CMS Cepcor, the Leicestershire-based after-market manufacturers and suppliers of crusher, screen and asphalt plant spares and service, have announced sales growth in excess of 40% for the year ended April 2011, achieving a new record turnover for the company.
‘Despite what continues to be a very challenging global market for aggregate processing and production, the company has seen a substantial growth in operating performance over the last 12 months,’ said commercial director Lee Hodges.
‘Throughout the last trading period, customers have benefited from our wide portfolio of cost-effective solutions that offer improved performance gained through our ongoing research, development and innovation. Further development will continue as we seek to optimize our business, continually reinvesting in stock, product ranges, employees and manufacturing facilities.’
During the next 12 months the company plans to build a new head office, crusher training centre and product development and manufacturing facility, along with a substantial expansion of its crusher parts distribution warehouse. The estimated £3 million expansion of the facilities will be constructed on recently acquired land adjacent to the company’s existing site in Coalville.
