KVM ‘rap up’ two more installations

"KVM have recently completed the installation of two RAP (recycled asphalt product) systems. RMC Aggregates Western have purchased a system for a plant located in the Birmingham area, and Aggregate Industries for a plant in Melbur, Cornwall. Both installations were carried out by Pedershaab, KVM’s UK partner."

"Both systems consist of a feeder, an inclined conveyor, a RAP scale, an exhaust system with sludge collecting feature and a control system. The systems are designed to add more than 25% RAP directly into the mixer. One system also includes a scalping screen to remove any oversized material. The control system can be operated independently or integrated with existing systems."
