KVM celebrate 40 years in the UK KVM celebrate 40 years in the UK

Danish asphalt and concrete equipment suppliers KVM have recently celebrated 40 years of having a dedicated sales office in the UK. The office prides itself in providing a first-class service for customers in after-sales and the development of new projects.

Located near Derby, the office was initially set up to provide stores for essential spare parts to support newly installed concrete block machines in the UK. Overtime asphalt was added to the product portfolio and a dedicated team to look after both concrete and asphalt markets is now based there.

2023 saw the company have appoint new members of staff. James Weir, who joined in July with over 30 years’ experience working in construction materials, supports engineering projects in the UK as well as the asphalt after-sales market.

Libby Garland joined in May and supports the sales, administration and distribution of spare parts from the Derby stores to customers across the UK.

David Wykes joined the business as general manager at the start of 2023. David has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years, managing both sales and operational facilities in asphalt as well as having a background in new product development within the construction industry. He will be responsible for  overall day-to-day operations as well as growing the UK business.
