High praise for new Hyundai construction equipment
CW Russell hail fleet of Hyundai machines as ‘best ever’ purchase
FOUNDED in 1994, Middlesborough-based CW Russell are a multi-service provider, offering road haulage, aggregates supplies, site clearance, earthmoving, and excavation services throughout the North East region. The business also has a rental division providing machines for small hire, demolition, and muckaway projects.
CW Russell currently operate a fleet of over 40 machines ranging from 20- to 50-tonne excavators, loading shovels, and a series of crushers and screeners. Over the last two years, the company has been busy strengthening their plant and equipment fleet, with significant investments in brand-new Hyundai construction machinery, including the HX300AL and HX330AL crawler excavators and HL970A wheel loader.
Each of the new machines boast the hallmarks of Hyundai’s A-Series range – powerful performance, reliable operation, and exceptional operator comfort. Supplied by Hyundai dealers Taylor & Braithwaite, the latest fleet of machines join an extensive Hyundai fleet which has been built up since May 2020 and includes six loaders and 10 excavators in total.
Since making the switch to Hyundai, Tom Russell, director of CW Russell, has praised the performance of the company’s equipment fleet, describing it as the ‘best machines we’ve ever bought.’
‘The excavators in our fleet have got to be powerful,’ said Mr Russell. ‘They’re turning over big heaps when they’re crushing and screening, and the Hyundais are more than up to the challenge – they get through the job much quicker than normal diggers would do.’
The Stage V-compliant Hyundai HX300AL and HX330AL crawler excavators have been specifically designed for heavy digging, lifting, and grading applications, making them suitable for use in mass excavation, waste-management, construction, and mining projects.
The new HL970A wheel loader for CW Russell features performance-matched components to ensure maximum productivity and improved uptime management, whilst a host of safety and convenience functions deliver higher levels of operator comfort and control.
