Avery Weigh-Tronix announce new acquisition
Global weighing equipment manufacturer acquires UK-based Central Weighing Ltd
AVERY Weigh-Tronix, one of the world’s largest suppliers of weighing equipment and solutions, have completed the takeover of weighing specialists Central Weighing. Based in Kidderminster, Central Weighing specialize in vehicle weighing, tracking and management systems.
The company also offers a unique web-based tracking and monitoring system developed for municipal vehicles and the waste industry under the Exactrak name.
Avery Weigh-Tronix’s acquisition of Central Weighing will facilitate the pooling of technological resources and complementary product and service capabilities of two market leaders.
It will also reinforce Avery Weigh-Tronix’s commitment to providing smarter, innovative products and achieving greater reach in the global marketplace with expansion into both existing and growth markets.
