A brace of Volvo’s for 777 Group
South London-based 777 Demolition & Haulage have, for the first time, taken a delivery of two Volvo EC360BLC excavators rigged for demolition duties.
The 36-tonne machines have been supplied complete with heavy-duty FOGS guarding around the operator’s cab, side-impact protection and heavy-duty belly plates. The EC360BLC is powered by a Volvo 12-litre D12C low-emission unit, developing 184kW, with a maximum torque of 1,353Nm at 1,275 rev/min. The engine’s horsepower is precisely matched to the hydraulic system’s components and designed to maximize performance levels and provide high-fuel efficiencies.
Both machines are engaged on projects around the UK. 777 carry out their own maintenance programme and support their fleet of equipment with five mobile service engineers.
