Metso Outotec name change proposal

Proposal on company name change to be put to Metso Outotec’s Annual General Meeting

IN accordance with the Limited Liability Companies Act, the board of directors of Metso Outotec will propose to the Annual General Meeting on 3 May 2023 that the current name of the company is changed to Metso Corporation.

The proposal is based on the grounds that the integration of Metso and Outotec, which became effective on 1 July 2020, is completed, and the company’s current strategy focuses on growing a strong unified company that builds on the long history and legacy of its businesses to create significant customer value.
