Whitnell make it a Cat machine double
Colchester-based plant hire firm takes delivery of two new Caterpillar 313F L GC excavators
FINNING have sold two of the recently launched Cat 313F L GC hydraulic excavators to Whitnell Plant, thanks to a sales lead on social media.
With cost-per-hour contracts becoming more prominent, the Cat 313 machine is designed specifically for the UK plant hire market. The excavator’s ‘best in class’ fuel efficiency, high productivity and robustness are tailored to maximize the output value per hour, ensuring contractors get the best possible return on their investment.
Lionel Whitnell, owner of Whitnell Plant, commented: ‘Although we do earthmoving, groundworks and contracting, the Cat 313 machines will be perfect for Whitnell’s traditional plant hire services. They will also be used for the small works contracts that we win.’
Vic Mallet, sales representative for Finning, added: ‘Whitnell continue to be a loyal Cat and Finning customer. Unbeknown to me, Lionel saw a YouTube clip of the new Cat 313F L GC excavator and was immediately impressed. As a result, we finalized the deal for two units to be delivered to them directly after the Plantworx show.’
