Firm invests £300,000 in new concrete equipment for specialist surfacing and civil engineering projects

CPR Resurfacing (Scotland) have purchased more than £300,000 of new plant and machinery from concrete equipment specialists Utranazz, to allow the company to meet growing demand for specialist surfacing and civil engineering projects.

The order includes an HM12H-E volumetric concrete mixer, a T4 concrete batching plant, an SPF32/DE low-level silo and a truckmixer.

CPR have modernized their existing fleet of volumetric concrete mixers with the acquisition of the new HM12H-E, which Utranazz developed in conjunction with American manufacturers Holcombe Mixers. It will be put to work providing concrete for commercial projects throughout Scotland.

Meanwhile, the T4 batching plant, SPF32/DE low-level silo and truckmixer will allow CPR to produce concrete for specialist surfacing and civil engineering contracts, including a rail infrastructure project and airport redevelopment scheme.

William Black, managing director of CPR Resurfacing, said: ‘This investment reflects our commitment to customers, by providing modern, efficient plant and equipment that will ensure projects are delivered on time. It also enables us to stay competitive within the industry.’
