Trio of Bell ADTs for John F Hunt
Demolition specialists expand equipment fleet with three new Bell B25E articulated dumptrucks
JOHN F Hunt have added three new Bell B25E articulated dumptrucks to their plant and equipment fleet. The ADTs were chosen for their compact size and reliability, making them suitable for demolition applications.
The deal continues a working relationship between the firms that goes back nearly a decade, when John F Hunt first bought two D-series articulated dumptrucks from Bell Equipment.
According to John Yeldham, deport manager for John F Hunt, these machines have performed exceptionally well over the past nine years. He commented: ‘The Bell dumptrucks are reliable and so robust, and we’ve experienced very little downtime. In addition, on the rare occasions we’ve needed help, Bell have provided a great backup service.’
Having won a huge contract recently, which would tie up at least several ADTs for two years, the company recognized there was an opportunity to extend the number of Bell machines in its fleet.
The new ADTs purchased by John F Hunt are from the next-generation E-series, which offers increased production payloads, lower daily operating costs, superior ride quality and higher levels of safety, as well as one of the lowest fuel cost-per-tonne operations on the market.
Richard Higgot, sales and marketing manager for Bell Equipment UK, said: ‘We’re delighted that John F Hunt have recognized the advantages of choosing a smaller machine capable of exceeding expectations in tight working environments.’
