Three screens delivered to O’Connell Quarries
Hewitt Robins deliver trio of linear-motion screens for new €3.5 million quarry plant in Ireland
HEWITT Robins have recently delivered three linear-motion screens to O’Connell Quarries in Ireland, a family-owned supplier of aggregates, sand, and ready-mixed concrete in the Mid-West region.
The company has recently invested in a new €3.5 million plant, which will incorporate the three Hewitt Robins screens. The three machines supplied are:
A Hewitt Robins LPE11 4,800mm x 1,800mm double-deck, low-angle scalper, which will handle around 400 tonnes/h of –250mm greywacke and comes complete with a Hardox 400 top deck and a side-tensioned wire bottom deck.
The main sizing screen, a Hewitt Robins LPE14 7,200mm x 1,800mm triple-deck horizontal screen, capable of handling up to 450 tonnes/h and screening at 50mm on the top deck, 20mm on the middle deck, and 6mm on the bottom deck using side-tensioned rubber media.
A Hewitt Robins LPE11 4,800mm x 1,800mm double-deck horizontal screen, which will handle around 100 tonnes/h and screens at 12mm on the top deck and 6mm on the bottom deck.
Supplied via Crushing & Screening Services Ltd, Hewitt Robins’ sole dealer for Ireland, the machines are scheduled to be installed later this year.
