Astec expand strategic partnership with MPS
Expanded partnership with Mineral Processing Solutions to support quarrying and mining customers across Australia
ASTEC Industries Inc. have announced the expansion of their partnership with Mineral Processing Solutions (MPS), part of the OPS Group, to strengthen support for quarrying and mining customers across Australia.
Under the expanded agreement, MPS will now distribute and support Astec’s complete line of fixed and modular crushing, screening, washing, material handling, and breaker equipment across all Australian states and territories. The move builds on the success of a prior agreement, established in mid-2024, that granted MPS distribution rights for Astec equipment in New South Wales.
‘The success of our partnership with MPS in New South Wales made it clear that expanding our collaboration would be a major benefit to customers nationwide,’ said Adam Gordon, material solutions business line manager at Astec. ‘MPS bring deep industry knowledge, extensive local market experience, and a commitment to outstanding customer service – all backed by Astec's innovative technology and manufacturing strength.’
With facilities in Goodna, Queensland; Rutherford, New South Wales; Laverton, Victoria; and additional locations in Darwin, Perth, and Adelaide, MPS offer comprehensive sales, service, parts, and technical support across Australia. Their strong network ensures fast parts delivery and responsive support, helping customers reduce downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
‘The ability to provide fast, efficient service and parts support is critical for our customers’ success,’ said Mr Gordon. ‘By expanding our network through MPS, we’re delivering greater convenience, reduced lead times, and enhanced service across the country.’
The partnership also enables operational efficiencies for Astec Australia by consolidating supply lines and improving equipment accessibility for construction materials and mining operations nationwide.
‘Customers can expect a streamlined procurement process, improved service responsiveness, and continued access to Astec’s globally recognized equipment,’ continued Mr Gordon. ‘Together with MPS, we are well-positioned to meet the growing demand for high-quality processing solutions and provide reliable long-term support to Australia’s mining and construction industries.’
