Terex Construction appoint new dealer for Laos

RMA Group, Laos

RMA Group to supply Terex trucks to the country’s mining and construction industries

TEREX Construction have appointed leading infrastructure solutions provider, RMA Group, to distribute Terex construction equipment in Laos. RMA will provide full sales, service and parts support for both the Terex articulated and rigid truck ranges, which are manufactured in Motherwell, Scotland.

The distributor specializes in providing essential products and services to economies in transition, working alongside the development community in emerging and post-conflict markets to build or rebuild local infrastructure.

RMA already operate a global dealership network of heavy equipment and power products, and the company foresees Terex trucks being used in such key projects.

‘We are pleased to welcome RMA as our newest distributor,’ said Jon Bennett, regional director for Terex trucks in the Asia Pacific region. ‘With an excellent reputation in the mining and construction industries, and a strong geographical presence across more than 21 markets, RMA are a perfect fit for us and our customers.’

Olivier Gaiemet, director of RMA’s Heavy Equipment Division, commented: ‘When looking to expand our heavy equipment fleet, we wanted tough machines that could stand up to the demands put on them by the mining and construction industries.

‘By working with Terex we are joining forces with a global brand that has extensive experience in mining and construction and which manufactures a product that is renowned for its robust design and ability to be used in heavy-duty applications.’
