Tarmac recognized as an Exemplar Employer
Skills & Employment Alliance recognizes company’s commitment to developing skills and employment opportunities
TARMAC, a Financial Times UK’s best employer, have been awarded Exemplar Employer status by the Skills & Employment Alliance, highlighting their outstanding commitment to developing skills and employment opportunities.
This achievement celebrates the Tarmac’s participation in The 5% Club Accredited Membership Scheme which recognizes the company’s commitment to empowering its workforce through ‘earn and learn’ initiatives, including apprenticeships, graduate schemes, and early career opportunities.
Alongside this, Tarmac were acknowledged for being involved in the Careers & Enterprise Company’s Employer Standards, which aim to maximize the impact of employer engagement with young people, and for their work with the Engineering Development Trust’s Industrial Cadets scheme, a UK wide educational charity that connects young people and educators to explore STEM career opportunities.
By engaging with these initiatives, Tarmac have demonstrated their leadership in workforce development, championing skills, apprenticeships, and employability opportunities that create meaningful career pathways.
