Tarmac announce fourth Supplier Sustainability Week
Company continues to drive the sustainability agenda with supplier collaboration event
TARMAC have announced their fourth Supplier Sustainability Week, which will explore the wider sustainability landscape in partnership with their supply chain.
Running from 25–28 November, the week will include a series of free-to-join 60-minute sessions showcasing Tarmac’s ongoing commitment to sustainability through work with their supply partners. The week will dedicate a day to each of CRH/Tarmac’s sustainability values; decarbonization, circularity, and water, communicating the company’s objectives and customer needs, as well as outlining some of the excellent work achieved in each of these areas.
The week will also see the launch of the new Tarmac Innovation Pipeline, a platform enabling current and potential suppliers to submit innovations that will support Tarmac in delivering their Net Zero strategy.
Alistair Graham, procurement director at Tarmac, said: ‘Over the past three years, our Supplier Sustainability events have engaged more than 6,000 participants, helping to uncover and fast-track several key sustainability initiatives. From reducing carbon emissions across our supply chain to exploring new technologies, these collaborations are critical in shaping the future of our industry.’
