Tank sender helps save money
THE TS1 tank sender, now available from Merlin Equipment, uses ultrasonic technology and is said to be suitable for all types of tanks, gauges and liquids. No sender adjustment is necessary and because of its solid-state design, it will not wear out, clog or corrode.
Designed to fit in a standard SEA 5-hole sender mounting, no tank modification is required. For linear tanks the TS1 will work straight out of the box, while for non-linear tanks, different tank types and gauges, the TS1 can be programmed using free Windows-based software. Specific programmes can also be saved for batch programming in production-line environments.
Fully sealed, the TS1 is suitable for: 0–24V DC systems; 0–2,000mm tank depth; standard gauges: 0–5V, 240–33 ohm, 10–180 ohm and 10–300 ohm; plastic, stainless steel and aluminium tanks; and petrol, diesel, water, grey/black water liquids.
