SANY launch new ultra-large excavator line-up
Company introduces three new heavyweight machines from 78.6 tonnes up to 125 tonnes
CHINESE construction equipment manufacturers SANY have recently expanded their ultra-large excavator product portfolio with the introduction of three new machines – 78.6-tonne SY870H, 95.8-tonne SY980H and 125-tonne SY1250H, all of which are said to offer exceptional performance and excellent quality, reliability and intelligence.
‘Since the launch of the SY750H and SY950H excavators, SANY’s large excavator market share has witnessed steady growth over the last few years,’ said Cao Donghui, president of SANY’s heavy machinery R&D institute.
‘Riding on this momentum, we hope that the newly launched SY870H, SY980H and SY1250H models will further strengthen our competitiveness in the field of ultra-large excavators and our market position in the international market.’
According to SANY, the robust and highly productive SY1250H model delivers exceptional performance and features the latest technological upgrades, thanks to SANY’s decades of expertise in developing ultra-large excavators, resulting in a fuel-efficient, reliable and intelligent solution for large-scale earthworks and open-pit mining.
The SY980H excavator is powered by a high-pressure, large-flow, electrically controlled hydraulic system with reduced fuel consumption, dynamic response engine, which offers stable operations for various heavy-load excavation applications in quarrying and mining, whilst the machine’s superior control technology is said to increase efficiency by 30% compared with the previous generation.
Meeting market demand for 70–80-tonne excavators, SANY say the SY870H excavator is designed for high efficiency and low fuel consumption without compromising on digging power. Its bucket capacity, digging force and operating efficiency are all said to exceed current industry standards for excavators in the same class.
The SANY excavator line-up now embodies a full range of models from 1.6 tones up to 200 tonnes.
