Sandvik complete acquisition of OSA Demolition Equipment Srl

Acquisition enhances Sandvik’s offering and position in waste-recycling and demolition segment  

SANDVIK have announced the successful acquisition of OSA Demolition Equipment Srl, an Italy-based manufacturer of demolition tools and hydraulic hammers. OSA will now operate as a business unit within Sandvik’s Attachment Tools division, which forms part of the company’s Rock Processing Solutions business area.

Sandvik say the acquisition will broaden their offering in attachment tools and strengthen their market position in the demolition and recycling segments. 

‘This acquisition is a step in our strategy to expand in attractive niches within Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. We look forward to welcoming OSA to the group,’ said Stefan Widing, president and CEO of Sandvik.

Headquartered in Molfetta, Italy, OSA were founded in 1994 and today has 64 employees. In 2024, the business reported revenues of approximately SEK150 million.
