Safety first from VUE

Inspection Arm from Vision Unique Equipment (VUE) is a waterproof, heatproof and shockproof camera mounted on a lightweight telescopic pole which allows engineers to assess the safety of inaccessible areas on site.

Removing the need to put a person in confined spaces is a major advantage when carrying out inspections in quarries. VUE, who are working with the industry to develop the product further, have already incorporated a number of modifications, including reducing the weight of the arm, increasing its heat resistance to 70°C, and allowing operation when fully submerged in water.

A clear, colour image is viewed on a 4in hand-held LCD monitor which also provides clear images when used in pitch-black environments."
