Rubblemaster RM60 for Donoghue Waste Management

Rubblemaster RM60 compact mobile crusher

Promac-supplied impact crusher proves an instant success for Wembley-based waste-management firm

A 12-tonne Rubblemaster RM60 compact mobile crusher sold by Promac Solutions to Donoghue Waste Management is proving its worth after six weeks hard work in West London. More than 15 million people live in Greater London, where space is at a premium, which presents an increasing challenge to the recycling industry.

Family-owned Donoghue Waste Management separate and process nearly 4,000 tonnes of brick, concrete and other rubble each week on a compact site near Wembley Stadium, where their Deutz-powered RM60 impact crusher regularly performs at the top end of its performance range of 50–80 tonnes/h.

The compact machine, which takes up only 12 sq metres of floor space, is said to deliver a quality useable product with high outputs and low operating costs.

Donoghue Waste Management chose the machine over its competitors on the basis of performance, reliability and build quality. Company director Peter Donoghue said: ‘We’re delighted with the machine, which has performed beyond our expectations. It’s proved to be totally reliable and fuel efficient. I know its early days but things are very positive.’

Although a relatively new name in the industry, Rubblemaster offer a wide range of machines from 12 to 29 tonnes and are aiming to make an impression with local support across the south of England from Aldermaston-based Promac Solutions.

Two Rubblemaster machines will be on show at Hillhead 2014. One machine will be on static display on stand D15 (ECY Haulmark) while the other will be hard at work in the recycling demonstration area.
