Rokbak partner with HMD to strengthen presence in West Africa

Quarrying, mining, and construction companies to benefit from Rokbak haulers through local dealer HMD

SCOTTISH articulated hauler manufacturers Rokbak, a member of the Volvo Group, have partnered with Heavy Machinery Dealership (HMD), providers of construction, mining, and quarrying equipment in West Africa.

Founded in 2003, HMD have established a strong reputation as a specialized distributor of premium heavy machinery and parts and are dedicated to contributing to Africa’s infrastructure development.

 

As an experienced local partner, HMD will help bring Rokbak articulated dumptrucks (ADTs) to an established customer base in Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Benin, Guinea, and Cote d’Ivoire, together with strong spare parts availability and after-sales support.

The construction market in Africa is currently estimated at US$58.42 billion and is expected to reach US$74.81 billion by 2029. West Africa’s construction industry, in particular, is experiencing substantial growth, driven by urbanization and infrastructure development, and the demand for reliable, high-performance machinery is at an all-time high.
