REAL appoint new chairperson
Eurovia’s Paul Goosey appointed as chair of Road Emulsion Association Ltd for 2022–2024
THE Road Emulsion Association Ltd (REAL) has appointed Paul Goosey as its new chairperson for the next two years (2022–2024), following the Association’s 93rd AGM held on Wednesday 2 March 2022. The vice-chair will be Colas director Sommerville Wright.
Mr Goosey (pictured) has held several senior positions during his career with Eurovia and is currently managing director of the company’s UK businesses covering specialist treatments, surfacing, asphalt and materials production, research and development, and asset-management solutions.
Eurovia joined the Road Emulsion Association as a producer of bitumen emulsions following significant investment in their new ‘PolyBitumens’ polymer-modified bitumen and bitumen emulsion manufacturing facility on the north bank of the river Thames, near London.
