Major stake in NI-based Omega Crushing and Screening acquired by India’s Propel Industries

PROPEL Industries, a leader in the Indian crushing and screening market, have announced a strategic partnership with Omega Crushing and Screening, based in Omagh, Northern Ireland, pioneers in zero-emission mobile crushing and screening in European and American markets. Propel have acquired a major stake in Omega and both companies will work together to deliver cutting-edge solutions to the global crushing and screening market.

By uniting the technical expertise and market knowledge of both companies, the partnership is poised to enhance product development and accelerate the introduction of state-of-the-art crushing and screening solutions. The collaboration will utilize advanced manufacturing facilities in both regions, ensuring high-quality production standards and efficient distribution channels to meet the growing demand across global markets.

Joint efforts will focus on developing a new range of products that incorporate the latest technologies in crushing and screening. This includes eco-friendly and energy-efficient solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of the industry. The partnership aims to expand market reach of both the Propel and Omega brands by leveraging the extensive distribution networks of both companies. This will facilitate better access to emerging markets and strengthen their presence in established ones.

Ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority, and the partnership will include comprehensive after-sales support for spares and services. Omega’s Northern Ireland factory will serve as a parts hub serving the European and American markets for both the Propel and Omega brands. This will provide customers with reliable maintenance and quick access to replacement parts, ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of their equipment.

A key aspect of the collaboration is a shared commitment to sustainability. Both companies say they will work towards integrating eco-friendly practices in their manufacturing processes and product offerings, contributing to a greener future.

‘We are thrilled to join hands with Omega in this strategic partnership,’ said Senthil Kumar Varadharajan, managing director of Propel Industries. ‘This collaboration marks a significant milestone for us as we combine our strengths to drive innovation and growth in the global crushing and screening industry. Together, we aim to set new benchmarks in product quality and customer satisfaction.’
