Nynas AB appoint new chief executive officer
Eric Gosse to take over chief executive duties from president and acting CEO Stein Ivar Bye
ERIC Gosse has been appointed the new chief executive officer of Nynas AB and is expected to join the company in September 2023. He will take over the CEO duties from Stein Ivar Bye who has been president and acting CEO since May 2022.
Mr Gosse has a strong track record from senior executive positions including 25 years at TotalEnergies with responsibilities in both the bitumen and fuel and lubes businesses. He also currently serves as a key member of the Vivo Energy executive committee with responsibility for supply and distribution and business development for power and solar.
‘Eric Gosse comes with a strong industry background and a broad international experience in executive positions. I am delighted that he is now joining Nynas as chief executive officer and I’m confident that his leadership will ensure that Nynas’ transformation journey continues at a high pace,’ said Stein Ivar Bye.

Stein Ivar Bye, who now hands over the position of chief executive officer, will continue his engagement in Nynas and support the company as chairman of the board. During his time as acting CEO he has focused on the company’s transformation process with the aim of making Nynas more financially resilient as a strong base for future success.
