Develon celebrate handover of keys for ultra-modern new company building in Mannheim
DEVELON, formerly Doosan Construction Equipment, have announced the handover of the keys to the new headquarters of Develon Germany. The ultra-modern new building is in Mannheim Friedrichsfeld and marks another milestone in Develon’s expansion of the company’s market presence in the Germany/Switzerland/Austria (GSA) region.
The new building was constructed according to the latest standards and not only offers a pleasant working environment for employees, but also optimal conditions for the further development of the company’s products and technologies.
Placing particular emphasis on providing excellent service in the Rhine-Main-Neckar region, and with 10,650m2 of usable space, the site covers not only sales, service, spare parts, and spacious and modern workshops, but also a new training centre with training workshops and rooms as well as a test area.
In addition, Develon are gradually expanding their rental services, precisely tailored to the many requests of major customers and the GSA dealership network, with a focus on testing the innovations to be shown at bauma in April.
In February, Develon will begin moving to the new facility on Lembacher Strasse in Mannheim and, once the move is complete, will close the current temporary location at Seckenheimer Landstrasse by the end of February.
Sales, rentals, service, and spare parts sales, as well as training, will start at the new facility on 1 March 2025, with the training rooms almost fully booked for Develon dealers from March to June.
