New expanded telehandler range from Bobcat

Bobcat TL43.80HF telehandler

Bobcat introduce high-performance 8m TL43.80HF and 7m TL30.70 rigid-frame models

WITH the inclusion of the latest high-performance 8m TL43.80HF and 7m TL30.70 telehandlers, Bobcat now offer a choice of 13 rigid-frame models for applications in construction, rental, recycling, waste and general industry, covering maximum lifting capacities between 2.6 and 4.3 tonnes with lifting heights from 6m to 18m.

The new TL43.80HF increases the lift capacity in the Bobcat range to 4.3 tonnes, combining this with a maximum lift height of 7.5m and a maximum horizontal reach of 4.0m. Powered by a 130hp Bobcat engine and with a maximum travel speed from 20–40km/h, the compact telehandler brings together high productivity, robustness and rough terrain ability in the same machine, providing a new solution for heavy-lift handling applications found in the building materials, quarrying and mining sectors.

The very high stability of the TL43.80HF (pictured) is due to the box-welded frame, the low load centre, the long wheelbase and the new rear counterweight, which has allowed Bobcat to minimize the overall dimensions of the machine, resulting in a width of 2.30m and a length of less than 5m from the rear to the fork face. Together with a short turning radius of 3.71m, the telehandler is very manoeuvrable, which is particularly useful when working in confined environments.

The new TL30.70 provides a maximum lift capacity of 3 tonnes, a maximum lift height of 6.67m (with 20in tyres) and a maximum horizontal reach of 4.02m for a wide range of applications in construction, rental, recycling, waste and general industry, whilst its compact width of 2.1m means the TL30.70 offers a compact and cost-effective alternative to larger 7m models, especially where working spaces are tight and increased manoeuvrability is required. At maximum lift height, the machine can lift up to 2 tonnes, which is sufficient to place a pallet of heavy bricks in most conditions. Powered by a 75hp or 100hp Bobcat engine, the TL30.70 has a maximum travel speed of 40km.

Olivier Traccucci, senior product manager for Bobcat telehandlers, said: ‘At Bobcat, for over 60 years we have been constantly innovating the market – always developing new machines for customers’ needs. The new TL43.80HF and TL30.70 continue this legacy as they complete our range of telehandlers and ensure customers can benefit from unmatched loading productivity and lift capacity.’

All Bobcat telehandlers are covered by a three-year/3,000h warranty as standard, with the option of extending the warranty to five years/5,000h.
