Decarbonization-focused cement conference arrives in London this March, with global producers and technology specialists on stage

ENVIROTECH 2026 will take place in London from 15–18 March, bringing World Cement’s decarbonization-focused technical conference to the UK for the first time.

Following sold-out editions in Lisbon and Athens, the event will focus on technologies, processes, and projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions across the cement sector. The UK has been chosen as the host location in recognition of its role in several high-profile cement and concrete decarbonization initiatives, including low-carbon binders, alternative fuels, and carbon capture projects.

The conference programme is built around contributions from cement producers, reflecting EnviroTech’s stated aim of keeping operational and technical perspectives at the centre of the discussion.

Speakers confirmed for the 2026 programme include representatives from CalPortland, Cemex, CIMPOR, Ecocem, Heidelberg Materials, Hoffmann Green Cement, Holcim, Limak Cement, Mannok, Material Evolution, and industry bodies such as the Global Cement and Concrete Association and Mineral Products Association.

According to the organizers, the agenda will explore how cement producers are responding to tightening emissions targets, evolving regulation, and customer demand for lower-carbon construction materials. Sessions will cover areas such as alternative raw materials, novel cement formulations, process efficiency, and the scaling up of low-carbon technologies.

Alongside the conference programme, EnviroTech 2026 will include an exhibition showcasing suppliers of equipment, systems, and services supporting decarbonization across cement manufacturing and associated materials supply chains. A series of organized networking events will also run alongside the technical sessions.

The event will be hosted at The Park Plaza London Riverbank, overlooking the Palace of Westminster, with accommodation options available nearby. Organizers say preferential room rates have been arranged for delegates attending the conference.

EnviroTech 2026 forms part of World Cement’s wider editorial and events portfolio, which focuses on global cement production, technology, and market developments.

Further details on the full speaker programme and exhibition line-up are expected to be released ahead of the event. Registration for EnviroTech 2026 is now open.

Group discounts are available for cement producers, and reduced rates are offered to members of selected industry associations. For group discounts, contact: chloe.lelliott@palladianpublications.com
