New appointments at Atlas Copco
Jens Van den Sande and Mukul Chakravorty appointed as product marketing managers for company’s portable energy division
ATLAS Copco have announced the appointments of two new product marketing managers for their portable compressor range.
Jens Van den Sande (pictured) has taken the reins of the company’s Small Air range (up to 5.5 cubic metres per minute), while Mukul Chakravorty is responsible for Medium Air products (from 5.5 to 20 cubic metres per minute). They will both be based in Antwerp, Belgium, completing the Air marketing team.
‘The expansion of our team of product marketing managers for portable air shows our continued dedication to our customers, and to innovation,’ said Arie Jan van der Wijngaard, vice president marketing for Atlas Copco Portable Energy.
‘It offers our customers increased knowledge, experience and expertise in all their dealings with Atlas Copco in the future. I know that Jens and Mukul will strengthen the continued development of Atlas Copco’s portable compressors.’
He continued: ‘Over the last couple of years, the market for small portable compressors has been increasingly dominated by rental companies. That is why the desires and requests of these customers will be an extra focus in our product marketing strategy. We will also bring more value to the end-users that have very specific power needs for their portable compressors.’
Mr Chakravorty added: ‘In the short and medium term, we plan to increase our product offering, paying specific attention to optimizing customer fleet utilization and improving economies of operation, while remaining inline with our commitment to a cleaner and greener tomorrow.’
