Schaeffler appoint Martin Ryan as industrial aftermarket director for the UK and Ireland

PRECISION bearing manufacturers Schaeffler have announced the appointment of Martin Ryan as industrial aftermarket director at Schaeffler (UK) Ltd.

Mr Ryan (pictured) joined Schaeffler UK in 1990, working in various roles within the sales department, including commercial manager.

In his new role as industrial aftermarket director, he will be responsible for all UK distribution and direct sales to MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) customers.

Mr Ryan will report to Richard Hall, president industrial for the UK and Ireland and deputy managing director of Schaeffler (UK) Ltd.

Commenting on his new appointment, Mr Ryan said: ‘I am really excited to be taking on the responsibility for Schaeffler’s industrial aftermarket business for the UK and Ireland region, where we see strong growth potential.

‘We have an industry-leading product portfolio of rolling bearings, plain bearings and linear systems, backed up with a wide range of condition-monitoring and maintenance solutions.

As the UK market includes a high proportion of MRO companies, we are focusing on providing these customers with value-added products and services.’
