Xylem senior manager Peter Lewington joins Pumps Supplies as commercial manager
SUBMERSIBLE pump specialists Pump Supplies have appointed Peter Lewington, former managing director of Xylem UK, as commercial manager.
Stepping into the newly created role at Pump Supplies, Mr Lewington (pictured) brings more than 20 years’ experience in the waste-water pumping sector, having previously worked in senior managerial roles both in the UK and internationally.
As commercial manager at Pump Supplies, he will support the management team in consolidating the company’s position as a market-leading supplier for electric submersible pumping solutions.
Andrew John, managing director of Pump Supplies, said: ‘We’re delighted to appoint Peter as commercial manager. He’s ideally placed to continue the high levels of growth we’ve seen in recent years. His track record of securing new commercial contracts and developing opportunities is excellent. It means he has the insight and experience to lead our efforts to drive sales, new customers and increase our UK coverage.’
