Company strengthens construction team with appointment of Adrian Mann as product manager

KUBOTA UK have signalled their intent for sustained growth with a new appointment to their construction division. Adrian Mann has joined the team as product manager, bringing with him 30 years’ experience in the construction industry.

Mr Mann started his journey within the construction sector at Marton Dump Trucks, refurbishing and reconditioning quarrying equipment, before beginning a 17-year career at Terex.

For a large part of his time at Terex he worked as field service engineer, before becoming product specialist at the company in 2010, where he was responsible for managing and delivering the brand’s product sales training material globally and conducting product demonstrations and prototype evaluation.

Mr Mann commented: ‘Speaking to my colleagues at Kubota about the future of the brand and how they aim to progress as a company has given me a great feeling about taking on this new role. The way things are moving forward for Kubota within the construction sector is hugely positive and the company’s long-term plan is really encouraging and exciting.

‘Kubota is an established name that is very well-known throughout the industry for its performance, reliability and service support, so this is a great opportunity for me to be able to work with a company that consistently produces pieces of machinery to such a high level of quality.’

Mr Mann’s responsibilities will involve pricing and evaluating each product’s position within Kubota’s construction portfolio, including new products entering the market, whilst also creating and maintaining product information documents and liaising with the marketing department to manage outward communications.

Another aspect of his role includes attending trade shows and sales meetings, ensuring Kubota’s dealer managers and dealers have everything needed to maximize the promotion of Kubota construction machinery throughout the UK.
