Metso appoint new business area heads

Company completes line-up of new business area head and executive team members

FOLLOWING the announcement of changes to Metso’s operating model and organizational structure, as reported by Agg-Net on 25 September 2017, the company has now completed the appointment of its new business area heads.

Mikko Keto, currently senior vice-president of the Spare Parts business line, has been appointed president of the Minerals Services business area; Markku Simula (pictured), currently senior vice-president of the Aggregates business line, has been appointed as president of the Aggregates Equipment business area; and Sami Takaluoma, currently vice-president of the Nordics market area, has been appointed as president of the Minerals Consumables business area.

All three business area presidents will be members of Metso’s executive team and will report to Metso president and chief executive officer Nico Delvaux as of 1 January 2018.
