Metso expand screening equipment range

New GLH, GMF and GFF models expand Metso’s stationary screening portfolio New GLH, GMF and GFF models expand Metso’s stationary screening portfolio

New Grande Series models designed to deliver high-capacity screening performance and improved efficiency

METSO have strengthened their screening portfolio with the introduction of the new Grande Series, specifically designed to maximize productivity and efficiency for use in the mining and aggregates sectors. Engineered to meet the most demanding screening requirements, the Grande Series comprises three new stationary screen types – GLH, GMF and GFF – designed specifically for high-capacity, round-the-clock applications.

The larger screen sizes available within the Grande Series provide operators with increased throughput, reduced downtime, and improved process flexibility, helping support long-term production and business targets.

‘It’s all about helping our customers succeed with the right tools for their unique needs. With the newly launched Grande Series, customers gain more flexibility, easier screen replacements, and access to solutions for even the most demanding screening tasks,’ said Jouni Mähönen, vice-president, screening business line, Metso.

The new Grande Series has been developed to address a wide range of screening challenges, with each model offering capabilities tailored to specific applications.

The GLH Series horizontal screens are designed for heavy-duty duties such as slurry and water handling in demanding mining environments, delivering robust performance in high-moisture conditions.

For high-capacity screening of fine and near-size particles, the GMF Series multi-slope (banana) screens provide efficient material stratification and increased throughput.

The introduction of these models brings engineered-to-order (ETO) flexibility and very large screen designs to Metso’s stationary range for the first time, expanding the company’s ability to meet bespoke customer requirements.

The GFF Series, equipped with flip-flow technology, enables effective screening of difficult, sticky or damp materials and ensures precise fine separation – further strengthening Metso’s position as a full-line screening solutions provider.

Additionally, all Grande Series screens are compatible with Metso’s Trellex screening media, providing customers with an integrated solution that aligns with the wider Metso offering.

A key advantage of the new stationary screens is the easier replacement of third-party screens and flexible configuration options, allowing customers to upgrade or modify existing installations with minimal disruption.

Michael Gyberg, vice-president, capital equipment business, screening, Metso, said: ‘The Grande Series is a result of our continuous screening portfolio development. We are strengthening Metso’s position as a screening solutions partner, expanding our offering with larger screens, lighter-duty screens, and new flip-flow technology. With new technologies, larger sizes, and advanced capabilities, we’re expanding our portfolio to support the most demanding applications and strengthen our position in the growing screening market.’

The Grande Series will be available to customers worldwide. External launches for the GLH and GMF models are scheduled for early December 2025, with the GFF Series set to follow at the end of the first quarter of 2026.
