McLanahan celebrate 20 years of Australian operations

Company’s first international office in Newcastle, New South Wales, marks two decades in business

McLANAHAN Corporation, global manufacturers of aggregate, mineral and agricultural equipment, are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Australian office.

McLanahan is a sixth-generation, family-owned company that was founded in 1835 in Pennsylvania, USA. After years of serving various materials processing customers in Australia, primarily in the mining industry, the company officially expanded by opening its first international office in Newcastle, New South Wales, in July 2003.

Two of the original three staff members remain with the company, which today employs more than 65 Australians and has expanded to include offices in Queensland and Western Australia. Employees hold a variety of job functions, from manufacturing and field service to customer service and engineering.

McLanahan say they appreciate the efforts of their Australian employees to bring the company’s dedication to service and support to the region and look forward to continued growth.
