Kurimoto Ltd to supply full MAGNA range in the country, marking the Terex brand’s debut in the Asian market

MAGNA, the Terex brand created to meet the needs of large-scale operations, have appointed Kurimoto as their official distributor in Japan – marking the brand’s first entry into the Asian market.

The new partnership reflects a shared commitment to delivering robust, high-performance equipment for the Japanese mining, aggregates, recycling, and large-scale contracting sectors.

Founded in 1909 and based in Osaka, Kurimoto bring more than a century of manufacturing experience and a strong reputation for engineering precision. The company will sell and support the full MAGNA equipment range across Japan, complementing their existing representation of Terex brands Finlay and MDS.

Neil McIlwaine, business line director at MAGNA, commented, ‘Kurimoto’s reputation for engineering excellence and their deep understanding of Japan’s industrial landscape make them an ideal fit for MAGNA. Their ability to deliver tailored solutions across diverse sectors will mean that MAGNA equipment is deployed where it delivers the greatest impact, whether in high-volume recycling, precision aggregate processing, or demanding mining operations.’

Masashi Nakamura, general manager at Kurimoto, added: ‘We are honoured to represent MAGNA in Japan. Our experience with other Terex brands gives us confidence in expanding our portfolio with MAGNA’s high-output range, offering our customers powerful and reliable solutions to meet evolving industrial demands.’
