Keltbray win top industry award

Demolition specialist scoops Specialist Contractor of the Year accolade at Construction News awards   

KELTBRAY, UK specialists in engineering, construction, demolition, decommissioning and remediation services, have won this year’s Construction News Specialist Contractor of the Year award. 

Held at Grosvenor House, in London, last month, the judges declared Keltbray the winner of the category for ‘exceptional commitment to improving every aspect of their business’. The judging panel was impressed with how the company went that extra step when it came to best practice and sharing its innovations and methods with the rest of the industry in an effort to raise standards for all.

Keltbray see these factors as critical to their financial performance and the business has been rewarded with significant growth in recent years. 

The company’s environmental division was also highly commended in the Environmental Contractor of the Year category for its use of barges to move excavated material as an effective transport measure to reduce carbon emissions. 

Also catching the judging panel’s attention was Keltbray’s investment in their restoration facility at Thames Wharf, where the company treats the excavated material for reuse and recycling.
