Hyundai launch new HL965 wheel loader
Latest HL900-series model offers higher productivity, reduced operating costs and enhanced reliability
HYUNDAI Construction Equipment have expanded their wheel loader range with the addition of the HL965 model, which has an operating weight of 20,100kg and is powered by the latest Cummins QSL9 diesel engine (compliant to EU Stage IV emissions regulations) that delivers 272hp at 2,100 rev/min.
Hyundai machines are typically manufactured from the highest grade of steel, while rigorous tests on rigid cycle, heat, vibration and shock load are conducted during the design and production process of all new models to ensure optimum durability and reliability.
For added operator comfort, the new 10% larger ROPS/FOPS cabin on the HL965 features a fully adjustable seat and an ergonomic working environment. The cabin is also fully soundproofed using the latest noise-reduction technology, while an electro-hydraulic control lever allows operators to handle attachments with ease, resulting in increased productivity and a reduction in fatigue.
All Hyundai HL900 Series models include an on-board weighing system as standard, which has automatic and manual settings for monitoring individual or cumulative bucket load weights.
Hyundai’s improved bucket design on the HL965 features a wider opening, curved side plates and enhanced spill guard to maximize bucket capacity and reduce material loss during movement. Durability has also been increased using highly wear-resistant steel in key structural areas of the bucket.
For operator convenience, the HL965 wheel loader is equipped with an ‘Infotainment’ system in the form of a 7in wide touchscreen monitor that connects to the operator’s smartphone via Bluetooth.
For ease of maintenance, the new wheel loader features an electrically powered retractable engine hood that allows quick and accessible cleaning/servicing. The machine also has a large-volume air cleaner, an automatic dust ejector and an optional three-stage intake air pre-cleaner to improve the replacement cycle and durability of the air filter.
