Hill Engineering welcome two new recruits

Andy Martin and Rick Still

Two new business development managers for excavator attachment specialists Hill Engineering

SPECIALIST excavator attachment innovators Hill Engineering have restructured their GB sales operations and appointed two new managers who will cover expanded sales territories for the business.

Andy Martin and Rick Still join the Co. Down-based business with a total of 45 years’ plant experience and will report to John Lines, Hill’s head of global business development.

The first new territory, GB north, will be overseen by regional business manager Andy Martin (left of photo), who brings a total of 15 years’ experience to the company, most recently as business development manager for HHH Equipment where he worked across Scotland with brands such as FRD, Dala-Klippen, Vipermetal, Kemroc, Femac, HST and XCentric. He has also previously worked with Epiroc and Finning UK.

Rick Still (right of photo) joins Hill as regional business manager for the second new territory, GB south (including Wales), and brings 30 years’ experience to the company, most recently as sales team manager with Greenshields JCB. He has also worked with Hyundai and Bobcat.

Commenting on the appointments, John Lines said: ‘We are delighted to be in such a strong position that we can make these new appointments. Our plans are intended to bring a new level of focus on our existing customers and to support our drive for growth. I’m confident that Andy and Rick will make a huge contribution to our business in the near future.’

Andy Martin said: ‘I am delighted to be joining the team at Hill at such a challenging but exciting time for the industry as we aid the further evolution of the business in the aftermath of Covid.’

Rick Still added: ‘I am pleased to be able to bring over 30 years’ capital sales and sales management experience, both at a strategic and operational level within large blue-chip UK, European, Asian and US companies, to Hill’s global customer portfolio.’
