Gates appoint distributor for UK trade sales

Hayley Group to handle sales of the full range of Gates belts and hoses in the UK

GATES, a leading German manufacturer of drive belts and hoses, have recently appointed Hayley Group plc as their authorized national trade distributor for the full Gates industrial range in the UK.

Hayley Group, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of engineering essentials, have been one of Gates’ strong partners for belts, hoses and couplings for the last decade.

Hayley distribute the full Gates fluid power and power transmission range from their base in Halesowen, in the West Midlands, and recently added the newly launched Gates’ Delta V-belts to their trade sales line.

Announcing the appointment, Christopher Garety, Gates’ marketing and product management director, said: ‘Our premium products are well proven but to enter the high-volume, price-sensitive segment with the new Gates Delta V-belt range, we need the support of a national structure such as Hayley Group.’
