Fortis IBA appoint new environmental compliance manager
Joanna Collison brings nearly 20 years’ experience to low-carbon incinerator bottom ash aggregate producer
FORTIS IBA have appointed Joanna Collison as their new environmental compliance manager. With nearly 20 years’ experience in environmental management, Ms Collison brings a wealth of expertise in risk controls, compliance, and auditing, as well as a strong background in implementing international standards.
Her expertise includes enhancing sustainability practices and developing comprehensive environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting frameworks and reviewing net zero/carbon footprint strategies and managing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
Ms Collison has extensive experience in the energy-from-waste sector, having worked for Viridor and the Pennon Group. She is dedicated to sustainable practices and holds an MSc in Sustainability and Environmental Management.
