McLanahan director of sales - UK and Ireland takes leadership position with Washed Aggregates Trade Association

MCLANAHAN Corporation have announced that Donal McNicholl, director of sales - UK and Ireland, has been appointed to a leadership position within the Washed Aggregates Trade Association (WATA) – one of UK’s leading organizations representing the washed aggregates sector.

The appointment reflects Mr McNicholl’s technical knowledge and industry experience, as well as McLanahan’s commitment to supporting collaboration, sustainability, and technical advancement across the aggregates industry.

 

‘It’s an honour to join WATA and to contribute to shaping the future of our industry,’ said Mr McNicholl. ‘I look forward to working with fellow members to promote best practices, drive innovation, and represent the collective voice of washed aggregate producers.’

Mr McNicholl brings many years of experience in aggregate and construction and demolition waste recycling processing solutions. His experience combined with his technical knowledge have helped him make an impact on the aggregates industry.

As a relatively new and vital trade association representing the washed recycled aggregates sector, it is critical we have highly experienced and passionate people like Donal support the development of our association and drive the development of our sector.’

The Washed Aggregates Trade Association works to promote the benefits of washed and recycled aggregates to the Government and the wider market, to advance the critical role of the sector in the UK’s circular economy. It is focused on the continued growth of the washed and recycled aggregates industry as it will play a vital role in the future of the UK’s construction landscape.
